Casino Tampere is a “new type of casino”. Located in the Nokia Arena in Tampere, the Casino decided to offer an interactive, open and responsible experience. To create an immersive and interactive space, Casino Tampere wanted to create their own world of seasons and surreal sights that accompany the visitor throughout the area.  It is a modern environment where design, light, visuals, sound and scents create an immersive experience for all senses. 

Veli Studio was responsible to produce and create all the otherworldly visuals and sounds to create this immersive experience. Through 3D animation and sound design, we engineered the creation and implementation of these scenes in the screen-integrated walls and their multichannel high fidelity sound system.

Our approach to the creation of new world is based on a palette of elements from the Finnish nature and its all four seasons in a magical dimension full of miraculous plants and sparkling textures that shimmer in the dance of light . The sound design draws inspiration from 80’s and 90’s Japanese ambient and meditative soundscapes. The two combined offer this immersive experience, allowing the visitor to look through a window to another world.

On location these materials play each season at a time, mixed with a golden world full of rich textures. Here’s a small glimpse of all mixed together.
