Sisko (Sister) is a sensitive short story based on a poem the director once wrote. It tells a story between a mother and a daughter, the incapability to connect and understand each other. This film addresses the roles in mother-daughter relationships, how we often repeat the mistakes of our ancestors and vanish to the role that we’ve always played.
Shot on 16mm Kodak 200T with Arri 416 & Zeizz S16 High Speed lenses.
